Flew Breeze Ascent from LAS to ORF. The wifi was great. Could stream or even play games over it. The 220's are awesome and a breath of fresh air.

I traveled in air India business class from Mumbai to jfk. Worst experience . Headphones socket and phone charger were not working . Had watch silent movies in 15 hours flight. Flights was delayed more than six hours. Well done TATA .congratulations

Everytime I see this £19 fair I ask how. I live in London and monitor the site on regular basis.

one time an older gentleman was being deliberately rude to me because we had a double booked seat. I was trying to be amicable about the situation but he got the staff involved. He reseated me in a new reserved, apologised and gave me free largar all the way to edi, which they really didnt have to do but was a really nice gesture. in general id say their staff a way nicer than LNER.

So to take advantage of this fare I would have to spend a fortune to travel to London . I wish the rest of the UK was included in these fares not just Londoners.

Never heard of this train company. London Kings Cross to Edinburgh, non stop to Newcastle and then Morpeth. Morpeth has a tight curve and all trains have to slow down to 50mph to pass through the station. Maybe Lumo should also run on the West coast main line from Edinburgh yo London Euston.

16:00 Thanks to Emirates' A380 (and A380 in general) everyone compares Boeing's aircraft bathrooms and seats to Airbus and EVERYONE COMES UP LACKING. Emirates bathrooms are AMAZING in First Class. Their lounge in Dubai is fantastic. Hoping my ANA lounge experience will be just as good - or better.

I've watched a few videos on ANA and JAL business class and thus far I'm not impressed with the planes (Boeings), the food (Asian food is CHEAP) or the state of some of these seats (they wear quickly). I prefer Airbus A380 and A350 1x2x1 Business class configurations. Boeing are trash planes. These 777-300 and 787 are disappointing. Once you've flown business on EMIRATES a few times, these other airlines look poorer.

Imagine if EVERYONE on the plane had a decent seat and wasn't squeezed in like sardines. I'm not asking for a big screen TV. I'm not asking for private cabins. I'm not asking for full-sized beds. All I'm saying is that the airlines would attract so many more travelers and make more money if it wasn't such a miserable experience. I only fly business class. I'm 6'7" and I can't be in economy for 17 hours on end. No leg space, no hip room, no shoulder room. Flying business class and paying 60% more for a ticket is the only way for me. This summer I'm flying ANA Business Class to Bali and Singapore. That's a total of 20 hours of travel time. Yes I'll have a huge seat and plenty of food and alcohol, but that's unnecessary mostly. It's like you have to pick between 3 EXTREMES when you fly. EXTREME MISERY, EXTREME COMFORT or EXTREME LUXURY. The best economy thus far has been the A380-800 and they're still trying to figure out how to fuck that up - or make it go away to put us back in misery.

Great price. Back in 1993, I thought that York to King's Cross return for £50 was good, and that's over thirty years ago.

Of course what they promise and what you get are two different things. When we heard about a night sleeper service that went from Brussels to Berlin via Amsterdam was being extended on to Prague and thought, “Why not?” So we, my adult daughter and I, booked tickets from London to Brussels Eurostar, the night sleeper to Prague and, after a couple of nights there, tickets to Berlin for two nights and tickets to Amsterdam for two nights followed by a Eurostar back home. Met up in St Pancras and got the Eurostar without problems. About an hour before boarding the sleeper we got a message saying we’d been “Downgraded”. Now we’d booked and paid extra for two individual sleeper compartments - sole occupancy, made up “proper” bed, own washroom/towel/toiletries so to be downgraded to a joint couchette with SIX bunks was quite a drop, more degraded than downgraded! We’d previously been in wagon 3 and were now in wagon 22, the very last one so a long march down the platform! We argued the toss with a stroppy train attendant who insisted we’d booked a single couchette - not wishing to believe her own company’s paperwork. When my daughter found a layout drawing on her phone the woman angrily snatched it away and wouldn’t give it back. She called for a more senior attendant and he too insisted we were entitled to just a single couchette . . . until he examined the diagram and saw that sleepers only have 3 bunks and we had both booked the lower one - besides he finally agreed that nobody was going to pay €578 to squeeze into a single couchette cabin (basic accommodation for 6, four of the bunks fold down, seats are hard . . . ) He found us TWO couchettes next to each other but in wagon 2 at the other end of the train. So we had to get out at Antwerp and speed walk the full length of the platform CARRYING OUR OWN BEDDING. When we got there the wagon was grubby, the outside filthy, the nearest washroom smelled and the seat in the WC had a broken hinge. The only saving factor was that we had a charming young Belgian attendant called Marta who couldn’t have done more for us. An uncomfortable night to say the least. My daughter has a bad back and I’m 72 so neither of us was inclined to climb into an upper bunk and the lower ones are hard with protruding back rests. But we got to Prague in the end and it is amazing - we took an open top bus tour before settling into our apartment and had a great couple of days. The Euro Sleeper company offered us a €50 refund each and a 20% reduction on further bookings (as if!) but we talked them into giving us 50% back. Looking at their website it now seems the sleeper cabins have been dropped from the options - you have been warned!

Great video, Paul! It is so surreal to fly on a sea plane also, here in the US and Canada we referred to them as float planes, the difference being float planes land on pontoons like the one you took. A true "sea plane" lands directly on the water as it's fuselage is shaped like a boat hull and doesn't require any "floats" or pontoon assistance. The type of plane you took the aforementioned float plane requires pontoons. still what a great video! I had to rewatch it today as one of their De Havilland DHC-2 Beaver aircraft (the red one seen at 11:00 wearing the special Canadian flag livery C-FFHA.) Was just tragically destroyed on Saturday June 8TH 2024 when she and her passengers and crew, unfortunately collided with a small leisure boat in Vancouver Harbour at the "Coal Harbour Floatplane Base (CYHC) Luckily everyone survived this accident but if you haven't heard about it yet check out my newest Aviation News video linked here to learn all about it! That cubby is the Class 80x cycle rack, with indicators as most operators require you to make a bike reservation 😉

I'm not sure how being DOO makes staff more visible when LNER have hosts in both standard and first who don't get involved with dispatch. Whilst lumo have their staff on the platform as well? It's more down to the fact it's only a 5 car train with very few stops.

Favourite View ! Slough to Windsor with the castle in the background, was even better when Concorde flew over.

Booking 5 months in advance and having to hunt for tickets is disingenuous and isn't a proper reflection of the actual cost that most punters will be paying. I'd fly every time.

£19 is not a bad price to travel from King's Cross to Edinburgh. I haven't traveled by train up to Scotland because it takes 8 hours from Great Yarmouth to Edinburgh which is expensive. I have traveled to Edinburgh twice with easyjet and Edinburgh is a really nice place to visit when on holiday. Your videos are brilliant Paul 👍

Why do you flash up text on your videos that can't easily be read? For an informative channel, it seems a negative thing to do.
